2. Description of Service

BMICalcGuide.com provides a free, browser-based calculator that produces estimate-based outputs for Body Mass Index (BMI), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), and simplified daily macro targets. The calculator supports both metric and imperial inputs. The Site is intended for general informational and planning purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

The results produced by this calculator are general estimates only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized nutritional guidance. BMI, BMR, TDEE, and macro estimates are based on widely cited formulas applied to the inputs you provide; they are starting points for personal awareness and planning, not clinical recommendations.

If you have a medical condition, a history of disordered eating, an eating disorder, or any health concern that may be affected by diet or caloric intake, you should consult a licensed healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise routine, or nutritional habits. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it based on anything you read or calculate on this Site.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, graphics, and the BMICalcGuide name and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its related systems.
  • Using the Site to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content.
  • Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting content from the Site without permission.
  • Using automated tools to submit large volumes of requests that burden Site infrastructure.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BMICalcGuide.com, its owners, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to health outcomes, dietary decisions, reliance on calculator estimates, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site shall not exceed the greater of $10 USD or the amount you paid to use the Site (which is zero, as the Site is free).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
